ISO 20121 follows the management system standard of Plan, Do, Check and Act but it is not a check list. It is intended to be applied to allow organisations that have not formally addressed sustainable development principles to start to plan and implement a management system.
Colleen was a member of the ISO 20121 London mirror committee that developed the standard. She continues to work with BSI on any proposed reviews to the standard.

What our clients say
“The value of implementing ISO 20121 was the creation of a system with principles that are becoming fully implemented into every aspect of our business. We have been able to fully take control of the sustainable event management system and work to continually improve it utilising internal resource and furthering stakeholder engagement effectively. Colleen was able to set the course for UBM Live to expand our sustainable event management system to flourish globally and to reach more parts of the business.”
