By Francesca Fitzgerald, Ardea International

About the Ardea International Podcast

Welcome to our latest podcast! Through this platform, we aim to spotlight trailblazing women who are driving positive change in the ESG space. At Ardea, we believe that showcasing women’s voices is important to move towards a world where everyone is treated fairly and equally; many industries are still difficult to break into for women.

For this episode, we spoke to Jessica Wan, the current Head of Human Rights/Social Research Lead at Redwheel, a specialist independent investment organisation managing $17.9 billion globally. Jessica is responsible for leading the social research agenda providing internal independent human rights research and advisory services for fund managers throughout financial product lifecycles.

Jessica is responsible for leading the social research agenda providing internal independent human rights research and advisory services for fund managers throughout financial product lifecycles.

For five years, Jessica was a gender specialist at the International Labour Organisation in Geneva and Bangkok (Better Work). As an Associate at BSR in Hong Kong, Jessica spent most of her time travelling across Asia working with buyers and their suppliers to strengthen human rights due diligence systems.
